Train The Trainer (TOT)
Train The Trainer (TOT) 25-hour online instructor-led course was designed to engage trainers in coaching new trainers who are less experienced with a particular topic or skill, or with training overall. This course teaches principles, strategies, and best practices for training adult learners. Our main focus is preparing instructors to present and teach content and competencies effectively by ensuring they can lead and reinforce learning and discussions. This course will also focus on theories, analysis, and goals ensuring trainers can:
Direct participants to supplementary resources and reference materials for proper citation
Lead discussions
Listen effectively.
Make accurate observations and provide assessments
Help participants link the training to their career focus area.
Trainer participants to learn the importance of maintaining eye contact, presenting a positive attitude, presenting with a clear voice, gesturing appropriately, maintaining engagement, and removing confusion.
Participants will receive IACET CEUs and a certificate upon passing the course.
